This is so funny. Show your mother this and tell her there's no way in hell you can do law. Then come to Monash (since Melbourne Uni is not as good for Med and takes forever and ever and ever) and do Medicine. Tell her you need to go out and explore new lands and stop living in Singapore because evidently, Singapore diminishes your awareness of the rest of the worls.
